One of two (!) Buff-breasted Sandpipers at Herdla in western Norway 24 September 2006. This was the first county record, while the Norwegian total is nearly 30 records up to date.

Note the dark crescent at the underwing primary-coverts, a clue ID-character when excluding small Ruffs.
