This bird was part of an unusual influx of Stonechats in western Norway during October 2001. It was together with two Whinchats and another Stonechat at Stormark, Fedje, Hordaland county on the 17th. Six birds, including an eastern Stonechat (Saxicola torquata maura) were seen at Fedje this October. Some videograbs of the eastern bird can bee seen here.
