Red-necked Phalarope
During a week in the eastern part of Finnmark county, we encountered several hundred Red-necked Phalaropes. They were present both along the shores and in freshwater ponds. This male was photographed on 31 May 2005 at Vadsö, where we counted about 120 individuals.
