This adult Common Nightingale was caught and ringed at Turøy bird observatory, Hordaland county. It was then, on the 23rd. of July 2000, in heavy moult. This picture was taken on the 19th. og August. Note the growing outer primaries, inner secondaries and outer tail feathers. It stayed until the 1st. of October, and was the second county record.
