European Storm-Petrel
The European Storm-petrel is a pretty common species in western Norway during late July and August. However, it is necessary to get out at night, use playback, and maybe join some ringers to get satisfactory sightings. This bird was photographed during such night-catching at the island of Turøy, Fjell in Hordaland county 13th. of August 1996.
