This Horned Lark was present at Fedje, Hordaland county from the first until the fourth of October 2001. It is a rare visitor along the coast in this part of Norway, and this was the first record ever on Fedje. Restricted amount of black on the crown and forehead, as well as short horns, indicates a first-winter bird. The distinctly marked chest-patch points towards a male.
