Great White Egret
Great White Egret in Kvam municipality, Hordaland county on the 5th. of April 2003. It was reported by a birder living near-by today, but according to other locals it was first seen four days ago. This is the earliest spring record ever in Norway (beating the previous extreme with four days). The seventh county record, and about the 80th. in Norway. The lower picture show an overview of the the lake that hosted the bird, Tørvikvatnet.
