Larus argentatus x hyperboreus hybrid chicks

This is the third consecutive year this couple (Herring and Glaucous Gull) makes a breeding attempt outside Kristiansand (the southern tip of Norway). The couple was initially found by Eldar Wrånes. Unfortunantely the hybrid chicks died pretty soon after hatching on June 18th in 2004.
