Second and third winter
Fredrikstad, Østfold, Norway
This Caspian Gull showed up at Öra in Fredrikstad during mid August 2004 and stayed in the area through the winter. In August 2005 it showed up again, but disappeared late in the month. The pictures below illustrate the bird in two different second winter moult stages, as well as in third winter plumage.
