These illustrative photos show the underwing feature well. Note the restricted black tips of the primaries. This is one of the best ID criterias of Bonaparte's Gull compared to the Black-headed Gull.
This will be the third Danish record, if considered as the same as an adult nearby in Hirtshals on the two first days of October 2004.
