This adult or second winter (aged as probably second winter based on some dark markings in the primary coverts) was discovered in Borhavn, Lista, Vest-Agder on 17th December 1995. It was last seen on 20th April 1996. This was only the second Norwegian record, the first was an adult in Kurefjorden, Rygge, Østfold in August 1972. The Lista-bird was soon followed by the third, in Nord-Trøndelag county in April and May 1996.
