Your digital prints are made through a traditional photochemical prosess. The main difference between the old analoge and the new digital prosess, is the way the image is transferred on to the photosensitive paper. Old technology used a lightsource projecting the image to the receiver medium through a negative film, the new digital prosess uses three lasers (red, blue and green) which writes the file-information to the medium, just like a laserprinter. The photopaper then goes through traditional chemistry. Small prints (up to 15x20cm) are printed on Fujifilm Chrystal Archive Surpreme New photopaper (glossy surface). Larger prints are printed on similar paper, but matte surface. The prints should at least stay unaltered for 100 years (preserved at normal conditions).
